A veteran Omaha detective, Tom Ring, was killed by two Mexicans at a rooming house on North Fifteenth Street while investigating railway freight-car thefts. Ring was shot as he peeked through a door transom, with another bullet later fired into him. Yesterday at high noon at the bride's home near Cedar Creek, Henry Urish and Lula Heil were married in a quiet ceremony witnessed by immediate relatives. Rev. Hartmann of Louisville officiated. The bride wore white crepe de chine with a bridal veil and carried bride roses. bridesmaids Katie Heil and Lucile Urish wore white with pink carnation bouquets.
