Library Board Seeks Funds for Cataloging and Books

The Plattsmouth library board met to review librarian Miss Jones report on cataloging costs and the need for more funds. They plan to solicit small business subscriptions and request city clubs’ donations be redirected to support the library, aiming to sustain high service standards and replace worn volumes. Child Breaks Ankle in Sudden Jump

Five year old daughter of August Stohlman suffered a broken bone in her ankle after jumping from a couch on Wednesday of last week. Medical attention was promptly given and she is reported to be getting along nicely. Louisville Courier.
