Social Workers Flower Club Holds Annual Xmas Party
The Social Workers Flower club of south of the city held its annual Xmas party at Mrs. Chas. Manners home. The event featured a program with piano solo Xmas melodies by Mrs. George Mumm and soprano Heralds of Giors by Mrs. Mike Kaffenberger, plus short plays and a Santa gift. A two course luncheon followed and the next meeting is set for Jan. 8, 1936 at Mrs. Julius Pit home.

Death of a Former Resident of Plattsmouth
Mrs. John Kopia, 74, longtime Plattsmouth resident, died Monday in Des Moines Iowa after years of illness. The Kopias ran a store at 15th and Main before moving to Des Moines ten years ago where their daughter Mrs. Frank Lorenz lives. Survived by husband, daughter, and brother Michael Hoscheidt of Plattsmouth. Funeral Friday in Des Moines with interment there.

Lost Avoca Woman Found After Wander in Lincoln
Mrs Addie Carrie about 75 of Avoca became lost in Lincoln late Monday afternoon and wandered streets for hours. She was found by a nephew, taken to police headquarters, then turned over to the Y W C A. She was later reunited with her nephew Robert Mickel who traced her through police. She had wandered away while her niece was at a hairdresser.

Roosevelt outlines half billion public works plan
