Collision at Webster and Elm Causes Minor Injuries
Sunday night around 9 30 two cars collided at the Webster boulevard Elm street intersection. Mr and Mrs J O Elliott of 930 D Street Omaha sustained minor bruises and a shaking. The Saunders county numbered car came from the boulevard and head on impact damaged both vehicles. Poor visibility due to a large bank makes the crossing dangerous.

Four-Mile Club Holds November Meeting

Miss Jean Caldwell formerly of Plattsmouth and Miss Virginia Hodgens of Sioux City Iowa arrived Sunday for a short visit with old friends. They stayed at the Goberman home and depart this morning for home. Caldwell teaches at the Y W C A in Sioux City and Hodgens runs a private studio. Caldwell is the daughter of Dr and Mrs A D Caldwell and enjoyed meeting former schoolmates.

Fails To Make Turn On Platte River Bridge
Last evening the car of R. H. Irland of Otoe was badly damaged after failing to make a turn at the south end of the Platte river bridge. The vehicle sped into the bank with Mr. Irland and J. O. Meyers inside. Meyers suffered a severe scalp wound while Irland’s car sustained major damage to the right front door fender and bumper. Meyers was brought to the city for treatment.

Pay Day for CWA Workers in County City

CWA Work Provides Jobs Across County in First Week
