Harry Bradford of Lincoln sang several selections including The Message and To You to warm approval. Prof. P F Kolbaba performed two numbers with an encore. Violin and vibrola pieces pleased all, and the evening reflected well on organizers. The institute’s work continues to progress with lectures and practical demonstrations for teachers from primary to high school, broadening their view of education. Tonight the Bourlington band concert is slated as part of the social program.

Death of a Former Cade County Man
Joshua Stroud, a pioneer who helped develop Cass and later Wyoming, died at his home near Casper after a week long illness. He was 83, born in Indiana, came to Cass County in 1864, lived in Mt Pleasant and Plattsmouth, then moved to Wyoming in 1884 to run a ranch and stock business. His widow and four children survive. two daughters and two sons were unable to attend the funeral in Casper.
