Former Cass County Citizen Killed in Train Accident Near Syracuse
A former Cass County resident, George McClain, about 51, was killed Saturday night near Syracuse, Nebraska, when his wagon was struck by a train after reportedly bewildered by the headlight. The western division of the T. J. Sokol society opened in the city with contestants arriving on Burlington train No 2 from Omaha South Omaha Ravenna Schuyler and Prague.
