Mrs. Jess Atterberry died early this morning at the Methodist hospital in Omaha after a two week battle with a severe appendicitis infection. Denice Vroman was born October 5 1905 in Mills county Iowa and lived in the city most of her life. She married Jess D Atterberry on August 1 1925 and leaves two small children Dwight and Elma along with her foster parents L E Vroman two sisters and five brothers.

The funeral for Mrs. Helen Pitz widow of G G Pitz longtime city resident took place Wednesday at St. Pauls Evangelical Church. Rev O G Wichmann led services with German hymns and Jesus Savior Pilot Me. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery beside her husband. Pallbearers were six nephews Carl William George Schmidtmann Clarence Jack Sedgeway and Julius A Pitz.

Road In Bad Shape On La Platte Highway
