Death of Mrs. W. E. Gapen Old Time Resident
Mrs. W. E. Gapen 67 died March 24 in the M. E. hospital Rapid City South Dakota after two months of cancer illness. Born Ola Calkins in October 1871 in New York she grew up south of the city then married W. E. Gapen. Survived by husband six sons three daughters two brothers and many relatives. funeral March 27 at the Presbyterian Church Rapid City with interment there. Mrs. Gapen was sister-in-law of Oscar Gapen Sr. and Mrs. George W. Snyder of this city.

Total loans amount to quantifications of 23,854.9 bushels and 11,014.30 dollars. Most farmers plan to stay within corn and wheat allotments for 1989 to remain eligible to seal.
