Cycle Thefts Solved In Plano Garland Sweep

Detectives B H Anderson and Henry Edwards with Garland Police recovered four motorcycles four frames and over 80 parts at a Plano residence. A 25 year old Plano man faces pending charges for theft of at least three vehicles. Police report 54 thefts and five burglaries in nine days along with multiple traffic crashes.

OConnell Seeks More Help as Courthouse Space Sinks

Police and marchers clash in Atlanta protest

About 300 demonstrators clashed with mounted police and patrolmen in Atlanta over the fatal police shooting of a black teen. Don’t Walk Proposal for FM 544 Crossings Vetoed

The Citizens Traffic Safety Support Commission rejected a plan from Plano Independent School District to have Weatherford Elementary students cross FM 544 at two points south of the road. About 200 pupils would be affected. The district proposed two public safety crossing guards at FM 544 Linda Lane and one at Armstrong to assist east side students.
