Voter Forms To be Mailed In Texas
Secretary of State Mark White Jr. says Texas will mail voter registration forms within a week after a federal court in New Orleans allowed the move. A three judge panel found the new registration law largely valid and required form amendments clarifying re registration only after moving from a voting address. White cited disrepair of the old rolls and promised an improved system.
