City Council Concedes Limits on Beer and Wine Powers
After two months the Plano City Council will not further restrict beer and wine sales. An ordinance aligning with state law will ban sales within 300 feet of schools churches and hospitals and in residential zones. The plan received nine pro and no opposing testimonies, and the commission urged a police powers ordinance.
