Blaze Engulfs Stone Creek Home. Firefighter Injured
Burned Out Charles Johnson and his son survey the wreckage at 2509 Stone Creek after a Sunday fire gutted the residence. Fire Marshals report calls came in at 11 30 a m and fire crews arrived within three minutes to find attic and roof in flames. The blaze was under control in about an hour with crews on scene two more hours. Twenty three firefighters and five pieces of equipment responded. firefighter Art Burns sustained neck burns when rafters collapsed.

Pickets Halt Plano High School Construction
Construction at Plano Senior High School was halted Monday as Sheetmetal Workers union members picketed over metal locker installations by apprentice carpenters.
