A fire at Keansburg shortly after 12 30 Monday morning gutted the New Point Comfort Hotel at the foot of Steamboat Pier and Broadwalk. The building and contents worth 22000 were insured for 10000. The adjacent Auditorium exterior suffered 100 damage. Owner A Gehlhaus and Jesse L Scull, manager Charles Sicher, and Captain William Lil were present as flames erupted on the third floor and attic.
