Plainfield Then and Now Fifty-Five Years Ago
Clippings recall Plainfield in mid nineteenth century from a scrap book found by William H. Olmstead. It includes details of daily life, four stores, and a village with no church or post office, and contrasts with modern growth, trains to New York, and a long travel journal by Craig Marsh about Niagara and Niagara County.
