Young girl dies saving sister near Six Points crossing
Reba Clarke age 15, daughter of Mr and Mrs Omar Clarke near Six Points, was fatally struck by an eastbound T H I E traction car while on her way to school. She pushed her eight year old sister from the track, saving her life, but was killed instantly. The accident also involved her ten year old brother Paul and the family’s route from a Six Points store. Witnesses said they did not hear the approaching interurban. Dr. Cooper pronounced her dead at home. Funeral held at Maple Hill Cemetery after services at the family home.
