Liza Mann Thompson born June 15 1855 died May 25 1920 aged 61 years 11 months. Daughter of Fredrick and Eliza Mann she married George J Thompson on 155 and had ten children. She helped build Bartlett Chapel Methodist church and lived a long Christian life despite eleven years of invalidism after a fall.

Eliza A. Thompson widow of George B. Thompson died Sunday May 23 at her daughter Mrs. Charles Gibbs home on the Cox farm south of town. She suffered from tuberculosis and died of acute pneumonia after eleven years invalidity. Funeral conducted by Rev. and Mrs. C. O. Watson at the home Tuesday afternoon with burial at Danville.
