Bulbul Operetta Presented by P. H. S. Juniors

The Junior Class of P. H. S. will stage Bulbul a two act comic operetta at the Opera House Friday next. Samit the king forbids an arranged marriage to Caspian while Bulbul and Caspian fall for others. The trio of weddings is set for Tuesday at Noon with Ida, Alain, and Lilla joining in the festive mayhem.

Man suffers broken ankle in Belleville buggy accident

P. R. Tulley sustained a broken ankle and minor injuries when a buggy overturned Sunday morning in Belleville. The horse spurred by rain, harness tangled, leaving Tulley pinned beneath. He was brought home by Hammrick and is said to be improving.
