Pleasant Eastern Trip by Dr Cooper Family
Dr. Ernest Cooper and family returned Saturday from a pleasant eastern trip leaving Plainfield at the end of May. They were joined in Washington by their daughter Portia. They visited Horseshoe Bend in the Allegheny range in Pennsylvania and saw sites in New York and New Jersey including Coney Island and the Statue of Liberty. Portia visited Rahway to see a friend at Sullins College. Dr. Cooper spent time visiting hospitals in Baltimore and New York including Johns Hopkins Bellevue and Manhattan hospitals and three days at the New York Post Graduate School observing various operations.

Norway shows ten times as many free libraries per population and Plainfield Public Library aids the Books for Everybody movement.
