Wheat threshing and marketing are in full swing with good yield and quality. Plainfield mills report heavy activity purchasing newly threshed wheat while storage remains light. No 1 wheat tests 60 pounds per bushel or more. No 2 tests 58 to 60. Mill price for No 1 is $2.53. Notable gains come from Mendenhall brothers with high test wheat averaging 12 pounds per bushel.
