A Plainfield man known as Bob Whitaker has earned praise in Chicago for a recent performance in a winter circus season. The piece recounts his adventurous travels with a circus from New Jersey to Central and South America including Panama Costa Rica and dangerous revolutions and diseases before he settled in Chicago for a four month engagement.
