Elizabeth Fire Chief Injured in Oil Works Fire
Chief Engineer N. H. Astfalk of the Elizabeth Fire Department was severely injured Friday night while directing firemen at the Borne and Kerymser oil works on Staten Island Sound. He slipped and fell, injuring his leg and internal parts and will be confined to his home for weeks.

Disorderly conduct arraignments in City Court
In City Court this morning six disorderly persons faced arraignment before Judge Codington. Bane Potts pleaded guilty to abusing his wife and was fined. James Emmons was jailed for thirty days. William Gillies pled guilty to disorderly conduct and was to be sent to the county jail for sixty days after firing at a mob with a seven inch firearm. John Sloyne and Thept? dents of the Boulevard were involved in a separate clash with Sloyne fined ten dollars and discharged. another youth charged with violating the city ordinance was discharged with sentence suspended. one man drank and another case unresolved.

McGrath Sentenced to Longest Union County Offense Term
