Boy Who Killed Two Men Faces Hangings Date Set

Cheyenne reports Charles Miller the boy killer awaits execution April 22 in Cheyenne after the Supreme Court affirmed a county court ruling and refused a new trial. The shooting occurred in a box car on a moving freight train. victims were Fishbourd and Emerson, well known in St Joseph Missouri. Miller fled to Kansas then surrendered to authorities. he has twice escaped jail, the second time in a blizzard, showing no emotion.

San Francisco February 15 Evidence in rebuttal was offered by the prosecution in the trial of Actor M B Curtis for the murder of Police Officer Grant. George Akers testified on cross examination that pursuing officers were 90 feet behind when the man turned the corner, impeaching officers testimony that they did not lose sight of him. The case was continued until Tuesday.
