Harry Bickerton faced aggravated riot charges from F T Lovejoy after a hearing before Alderman McMaster. Witness John Eyman, 17, from Carson Street, Southside, testified about July 6 in Homestead and Munhall, noting gunfire, crowds, and Bickerton seen with a gun. Bail set at 2000 for court.

One-Sided Stone Attack On Armory Window Breaks

Unknown assailants pelted the old Criminal Court armory with stones all night. A sergeant of the guard and Eighteenth Regiment militia men investigated after midnight, finding three broken windows and ongoing stone fire. New Rail Mill Opens at Carnegie Steel Duquesne Plant

At the Duquesne mill of Carnegie Steel yesterday a new steel rail mill started operation. The plant expects product to meet its usual standard. The notice ends with a mention of Dr D Jayne's Expectorant as a remedy for throat irritation and bronchial ailments.
