A colorful Moore County report covers a county fairlike gathering with girls in regalia, autos lining the arena, and a vivid parade of activities. Leaders include Charlie Picquet mobilizing the hosts, Farm Life School drill teams, horse and track events, and Annie Oakley style shooting demonstrating a lively country pageant in a frontier air. The piece paints a festive scene with garlands, hogs, and field day excitement amid harvest, band music, and community pride.
