The Sandhill Fair and Berkshire Hog Congress Parade
The Pinehurst event on November 20 and 21 features a victory parade with town floats, costumes, and displays. Notable contributions include J R Page’s Treat Em Roughs, Lloyd Bredbeck’s Admiral Sims model, aero plane acts by Squire Wicker, and Farm Life School cadets reenacting embattled forces. Camp Fire Girls and Red Cross chapters join women from Moore, Lee, and Chatham counties, culminating in Agricultural Hall exhibits and a tobacco emphasis.
