Fox Club Outing Draws Guests to Pinehurst Hunt
The Gaston County Fox Club held its annual fox hunt near Pinehurst in Moore county with about twenty five members and three packs of nearly one hundred full blooded southern fox-hounds. A champion cup was awarded but tied among packs and to be held by M C Freeman of Hamlet till next year. The event featured barbecues possum suppers and jubilee singing with visitors from the North West South and beyond enjoying the camp life and southern hospitality.
