Berkshire Hotel Opens Season at Pinehurst
The Berkshire Hotel in Pinehurst reopened last Monday under F B Kimball of Orwell Wisconsin for a new season. The two story main building with rear ells offers accommodations for over a hundred guests, a sun parlor, Louis XIV decorated parlor, New York artist Axel Selen decorations, and modern amenities including electric lighting steam heat and Pinehurst spring water. Mr Kimball, aided by clerk R H Butterworth and staff from last season, aims for an exceptionally busy period with strong patronage from Northern visitors aided by renovated interiors and famed dining overseen by a French chef.
