Annual Tin Whistle Championship Reveals Unique Multi Course Play
Thirty-two players scored across three courses in a single event with eighteen-hole rounds on each, producing varied handicaps. Parker Whittemore of Brookline CC won the overall trophy at 226, while Henry Fownes of Oakmont claimed second with 242. Net trophy went to Dr J S Brown of Montclair at 218. Others and yields noted for rounds on courses two and three, plus leading scores and handicaps.

Silver Foils Hosts Invite Mixed Foursomes Event
Thirty eight pairs competed in the Silver Foils annual mixed foursomes. The highest net score was 102. A tie of eighty one occurred for Becker and Jillson versus Fownes and Elkins with six stroke handicaps. In playoff Becker and Jillson posted 85 to 91. A triple tie at 82 involved Dutton and spouse, Milliken and Barnett, Cheatham and Cummings with 15 handicap. Hats off to the handicap committee.
