Hyde and Hurd duel for United South golf title
Miss Lillian B. Hyde metropolitan champion defeats Mrs. J. W. Hurd four and two in the final of the thirteenth United North and South Golf Championship held before about 500 spectators. Hurd led early, but Hyde rallied with precise iron play and steady putting to claim the title, while scores climbed through the day before Hyde secured the 18th green.
