The Grove Park Inn in Asheville North Carolina is under construction and set to open July 1 1913 managed by William S Kenney of the Mount Washington Bretton Woods and Hotel Clarendon Seabreeze Florida. Built of Sunset Mountain boulders it will be absolutely fireproof with rich handmade furnishings Aubusson rugs Roycroft handcrafts and two great stone fireplaces. The grounds include 160 acres of golf links and surrounding mountains with the hotel company owning 800 acres nearby.
