Henry McAleenan of New York won the first annual Junior Golf Tournament by defeating Stuart Macdonald of Toronto 5 and 4 in the final. Warren Bicknell of Cleveland posted the best qualifying score 103, McAleenan one behind, with Oliver Redfield of Greenwich at 109. The event drew strong young players and could become a yearly highlight.
