Wondrous Portraits in Living Pictures Delight Audience
An evening in the Carolina music room featured Famous Portraits in Living Pictures raising funds for the Village Chapel. Mrs. Philip S. Hichborn and Misses Boult Mullen O'Neil Van de Carr Banquet, and many others wore period costumes with elaborate lighting and props. The event, staged as a studio alcove, included The Duchess of Devonshire Queen Wilhelmina and Hiawatha among many vivid tableaux, and raised over one hundred dollars for the chapel fund.
