Winter Golf League advances in Pinehurst event
The advance guard of the Winter Golf League of Advertising Interests held a best ball handicap on the Pinehurst championship course. New Haven players Dr George Fahey and Hugh Kennedy led the field to win first prizes by seven eighths of a stroke, finishing 72%. The event produced a lively score sheet with several players earning honors under handicap.
