Freeman Wins Gross Score Cup in Handicap Meet
Dwin A Freeman of Montclair Golf Club New Jersey won the gross score cup by five strokes in an eighteen hole medal play handicap. J A Baker of Glen View Chicago was runner up with ninety two. Caroline C Check of East Orange edged H H Garfield Rochester Athletic Club by one stroke for the net score cup scoring sixty seven on a thirty five handicap. The day was clear and the clubhouse crowded with onlookers.
