Tuckerman Star Captures Midwinter Golf Honors
W. R. Tuckerman of Chevy Chase dominated the seventh annual Midwinter tournament. He tied for the qualification gold medal with William C. Freeman, then won the playoff and defeated John J. Hazen to take the President's Trophy. The event drew 140 entrants and featured close, single-day semi finals and finals with notable rounds from Frank Presbrey, Frederick Snare, and others.

Linsley and Towle win fourball handicap match play title
J R Linsley of Lenox with six handicap and J R Towle of Chicago with ten beat Colnel Bogey in the Tin Whistle event third round. Becker and Martel split even, finishing tied with several pairs for the lead while other match results list many two to seven down scores.
