Carolina Opens December First 1912 Pinehurst Season

The Carolina opens December 1 1912 with Seaboard Pullmans expanding the season to eight weeks. Informal midseason events enliven the week including Wednesday and Saturday dances at The Carolina and several bridge parties. A large charity bridge at Red Gables raised 100 dollars for the Village Club fund, hosted by Mrs. Charles A. Sinclair with helpers Mrs. John C. Spring Mrs. Allan Lord Miss Gwendolyn Cummings and Miss Lucy Priest.

Social Round of Winter Returns at The Carolina

Mr. and Mrs. I. B. Robeson and others welcomed back for the season include Rochester pairs Master S. B. Robeson and family, Durham visitor George W. Watts, Brooklyn hosts Mr. and Mrs. Truesdell, New Yorkers Hawley Webb and Laughram clusters, golfers joining Harry C. Kayser, Mullen party, Chicago visitors Gatzel Altman and Blackwell, Philadelphia Laughram, Roy T. Miller, New York Crane, Boston visitors Bacon and Dutton, and North Attleboro Ruth French welcomed back for golf season.

A long list of guests returns for extended stays and fortnights at the Maywood Club. Names include Mr. and Mrs. J. D. C. Rumsey of Brooklyn, Mr. and Mrs. William C. Freeman, Miss M. The Berkshire Opens Its doors Monday for opening week visitors

The Berkshire opens its hospitable doors on Monday with advance bookings for the week. Many guests are returning winter visitors including Mr. and Mrs. William Dickson of Brooklyn and numerous others from Arlington New Haven Amesbury Worcester Pittsburgh and New York with several couples and single guests listed among early arrivals.
