Pinehurst the Southland’s premier resort village
The late James W. Tufts created INEHURST as a complete year round resort offering unmatched climate in the pine belt. It features three major 18 hole golf courses plus a nine hole course, four hotels, cottages, shooting preserves, and extensive village amenities including shops, utilities, and transport links. Conscripts are excluded. Pinehurst is accessible from New York via Seaboard Air Line trains with stopover privileges for north or southbound travelers.
