Trade golf associations prove golf aids business by tempering competition, with Pinehurst hosting the Winter Golf League of Advertising Interests since 1904. Membership has grown to 166, focusing on networking away from business on the links. The league forbids business talk on the course, keeping camaraderie intact as members return to work.
