Cleopatra Ball at Pinehurst Club House Strikes Gala Note
A masked charity ball at the Pinehurst Club House drew a grand crowd in grotesque and brilliant costumes. The event, featuring a grand march and prize judging, raised funds for the Red Cross with Cleopatra winning best costume as Mrs. G. E. Chalmers of New York was presented. Judges led by C. F. Lancaster noted the dazzling array from Arabian Night to Western vaquero.

Tin Whistle Foursome Special Schedule and Results
C B Fownes of Oakmont and W H Truesdell won Tin Whistle Foursome Medal Play last Wednesday by one stroke over H H Rackham and R C Blanche who tied for second with net 77. Howard Phillips and Louis Hamilton led by one stroke at times but finished behind. T A Cheatham and Robert Foote close with 80. A special Club tournament on Monday February 25 featuring Mrs Watson’s trophy, the first prize, with second and third prizes donated by P B Maclaughlin and the Club. A four ball team match will also be played with members to arrange matches. Summary covers Number 2 course.
