Tommy and the Eagle over the Lake Adventure
A boy named Tommy spends a fortnight at Uncle John’s farm. While pretending to steer wooden ships on a growing lake, he encounters a granddaddy longlegs and an eagle that swoops him away. As storms rise, the boy endures fear, glimpses a distant mountain, and lands with four eaglets greeting him at a rocky perch.
