Powel Wins Opening Handicapped Trap Event at Country Club

Powel of Newport won the weekly handicap with ninety seven targets in the Country Club trap shooting trophy. Gardner of Chicago and Wills of Penns Grove tied for second with ninety six, followed by Cushing Todd of Newburyport with ninety five. Others included A. W. Church of New York, W. W. Peabody of New York, I. C. Dana of Great Barrington, KE Pooley of Philadelphia, and G. F. Berry of Frankfort with lower scores as the event's scores were detailed.

Pool Tourney at The Inn A Handicap Win By Robeson

Mr I. 8 Robeson of Rochester won a handicap pool tournament at The Holly Inn defeating Mr Harry Leon Wilson of New York in the final round by thirteen points. Robeson beat J S Linsley and Wilson in the semi finals. Linsley had a busy second round defeating Salmon Robeson Berwin Wilson E R Pooley and Creamer Keating. Early rounds saw Linsley defeat Grandin Salmon Byrnes Parmelee Berwin Ladd Robeson Nicholson E R Pooley R W Pooley Wilson Morton Keating and Creamer Rockwood.
