Warning by American Defense Society Urges Vigilance Corps
Hank Page of Aberdeen publishes a call from Richard M. Hurd, chairman of the American Defense Society, urging citizens to form a local Vigilance Corps to aid the government against German propaganda and enemy activity. The plan classifies residents as loyal, disloyal, doubtful or unknown and directs reporting to police and justice and intelligence offices.
