Jotter's Party Heads to Little River Country on Horseback
A festive horseback expedition marks the start of the season as Mrs BE Spencer Annie Oakley and a large group ride from plantation cottages toward Little River, led by Commander Elia with multiple notable riders joining. The procession includes a Tally-ho carriage and a luncheon amid pines and groves. Butter the black pony lightens the mood with comical presence. Christmas celebrations continue at Samarcand with schoolboys and Plantation folk joining in. Mrs May of Chicago visits in Rosemary Cottage, notes a missing black suitcase marked A C M on the train, offering a reward.
