The Grove Park Inn in Asheville North Carolina is under construction and slated to open July 1 1913 led by Wm S Kenney manager of Mount Washington Bretton Woods and Hotel Clarendon Seabreeze. The fireproof mountain resort sits on Sunset Mountain with 160 acres of golf links and lawn. The hotel will showcase hand made furniture Roycroft crafts Aubusson rugs stone fireplaces and a grand big room.
