Crocker Defeats Hunter For President's Trophy in Golf Final
In the Holiday week golf tour final, George L H Crocker of Brookline CC beat Paul M Hunter of Midlothian seven and six to win the President's Trophy. The match featured tight strokes and late drama on the eighteenth, Crocker sinking a six to Hunter's six-foot bid to halve the hole. Crocker led early and built on a string of wins to clinch the title.
