Brilliant Opening For United North and South Amateur Champs
Prominent amateurs from many parts of the country will participate as an early scratch match play opening. The United North and South Amateur Championships will be held in April with two eighteen hole qualifying rounds starting Wednesday. The top sixteen earn Pinehurst Cup, Carolina Cup, Holly Inn Cup, and Berkshire Cup spots. extra cups for additional blocks if more than sixty four compete. Medals awarded for best net and best gross scores with rules about not duplicating prizes. Entrants must state club handicap.
