Two Years Before the Mast and Other Puzzles
A Buffalo charity event features a guessing table with a list of puns and the audience table games. The table prizes display items like two years before the mast and the birds Christmas carol, apples of gold and pictures of silver, and other illustrated wordplay. The performance includes shadow pantomime by A. C. Butler and assistants, with Mrs Dickinson and others aiding. The Bishop visits for an entertainment session with children acting out scenes and a reading of letters, ending with a playful Bishop interaction and the children eagerly awaiting the next event.
