Corn Shucking at Saddlers Farm Returns Village Tradition
Last Monday Mr J B Saddler hosted the annual corn shucking near Pinehurst. Neighbors gathered for husking, feasting, and music with bonfires and dancing. Pinehurst guests, guided by Louis Letien and J R Ritter, faced a night trek, extended by a wrong turn, before arriving at a warm welcome and generous supper.
