Grove Park Inn to Open as World’s Finest Resort Hotel
ME E W GROVE of St Louis builds a fireproof resort atop Sunset Mountain Asheville North Carolina slated to open July 1 1913. The Inn will feature a 100 acre lawn and 60 acres of own, 17 mile water supply from Mount Mitchell, Vanderbilt dairy supply, Aubusson rugs Roycrofters furniture hammered silver and premium plumbing fixtures. The lobby measures 80 by 120 feet with $5000 rug, twelve foot log fireplaces, 40 foot swimming pool, and golf lockers and showers within 100 yards of the links.
