Beulah township dedicates new church with community effort
A Sunday dedication service for the Beulah area church drew a large, multigenerational crowd. Rev Rufus B. Tobey led prayers and hymns while Rev E B Hale and Rev Duncan spoke. Despite Rev Hugh Ingram’s absence, the congregation reaffirmed faith and pledged to worship in service of God and Christ. The structure, built by volunteers with generous local support, cost 67.50 dollars and impressed all with its neat finish and sturdy, handmade craftsmanship.

An Trishman Refuses Lobster Meal in Minneapolis Eatery
An Trishman entered a Minneapolis eating house seeking a square meal. The waiter served soup and celery which were consumed, then a lobster was presented. He looked at it, objected, claiming he had drunk dishwater and eaten the bouquet, and would be damned if he tasted it.
